Reservation Policies
Payment Policy:
Reservation Deposit:
An advanced payment equal to 50% of the total Rental Rate is required
to hold a reservation. For reservations of
90 days or more, first and last month´s rent is due to hold reservation. This is a deposit that will be applied toward the room rent only.
Payment for a reservation may be made by cash, credit card, or e-check. We accept Visa or MasterCard for reservations less than 90 days.
Final Payment:
The remaining balance, 50% of the total rental rate is due 30 days prior to arrival date, 120
days prior for reservations of 30-60 days (“Long Term Reservations”), and 60 days prior for holiday reservations. For reservations over
90 days please inquire for policies.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations: A written notice or phone call is required for cancellation and all cancellations incur a $75 USD
processing fee and take approx. 2 weeks to process.
Holiday Cancellations:
100% of any payment made toward the total rental rate shall be
refunded if reservation is cancelled 60 days prior to arrival date, 50% of any payment made toward the total rental rate shall be
refunded if reservation is cancelled 59-30 days prior to arrival date, no amount shall be refunded if reservation is cancelled
less than 30 days prior to arrival date.
Long Term Reservation Cancellations:
100% of any payment made toward the total rental rate shall be refunded if reservation is
cancelled 120 days prior to arrival date. No amount shall be refunded if reservation is cancelled less than 120 days prior to arrival date.
High& Low Season Cancellations:
100% of any payment made toward the total rental rate shall be refunded if reservation is cancelled
30 days prior to arrival date, 50% of any payment made toward the total rental rate shall be refunded if reservation is cancelled
21-29 days prior to reservation date, No amount shall be refunded if reservation is cancelled 20 days or less prior to reservation date.
Other
Credit Card Authorization:
A credit card authorization or cash deposit is required on file
at time of check-in, in the event that: excess
or intentional damage occurs to the home, items are missing, extensive cleaning is required, fines are imposed as further outlined in
this agreement, or cardholder requests additional services to be charged to their room bill.
Non Availability:
Should the home confirmed become unavailable for any reason, including but not limited to sale of the property prior
to arrival date, The Rental Department will notify and relocate Renter to a comparable home.
Occupancy:
The rental lease period begins at check in and ends at check out. Maximum occupancy is indicated on the website listing and agreed
upon at time of reservation. Renter agrees to register all names of guests occupying the rental home including children and ages, with
the Rental Department prior to arrival. Under no circumstances will the maximum occupancy be compromised. If exceeded, Renter is subject
to a $75 USD fee per night for each additional person and the Rental Department reserves the right to evict and refuse refund to anyone
at any time that appears to be detrimental to the property.
Smoking:
Smoking is forbidden inside all Destino rental properties. Evidence of smoking inside the property will result
in a $100 fine and additional cleaning fees will be charged against the credit card on file.
Pets:
Pets are not allowed in any Destino rental properties without rental manager´s prior request for approval by the
homeowner for the desired rental lease. Only housebroken pets shall be considered and an additional fee may apply.
Check Out Procedures:
Upon departure Renters will receive instructions for check out which requires Renters to remove all trash and
perishable items, turn off all air condition units, ceiling fans and lights, close all windows, and lock all doors. Failure to adhere
to check out procedures may result in fines.
